Air Abrasion is Fast, Effective, and Painless
Quick, pain-free, conservative and complication-free, I have been using air abrasion technology without the need for numbing the tooth for two decades. Sometimes, the cavity is so deep, I wonder to myself, why doesn’t it feel uncomfortable, but it is really painless.
I always ask the patient to tell me if there is the least bit of discomfort. They say to please continue, and amazingly, we finish the procedure and the patient is happy and leaves without the saggy lip appearance typical of local anaesthetic.
I wish I had this for myself when I was younger. It is the dentist’s and patient’s dream procedure.
