Invisalign: Custom & Clear Aligners
Invisalign aligners are the clear alternative to metal braces for adults and teens.
If you’re not already familiar with invisible aligners like Invisalign, they get their name from the fact they’re practically invisible.
Featuring a clear material molded from your teeth, they don’t have any rubber bands, brackets or wires and can be easily removed for brushing and flossing.
Invisalign for a Beautiful Smile
The biggest benefit is obviously straightening your teeth so you can enjoy a naturally beautiful smile. But, these clear aligners have immense benefits when compared to traditional metal braces and other orthodontics.

The Benefits of Invisalign
- Virtually invisible design – Since it’s made from clear plastic, Invisalign is virtually invisible. The vast majority of people won’t even know you’re wearing them. That means you don’t have to worry about being self-conscious in public as you secretly straighten your teeth.
- No inconveniences – With traditional braces, you have to worry about brackets, wires and diet restrictions. Invisalign doesn’t have the same restrictions, as they’re removable and let you eat whatever you want. You also don’t have as many visits to see your orthodontist.
- Maintains oral health – Straight teeth are beautiful, but so are white teeth. With Invisalign, you can brush and floss your teeth like you normally would. This ensures your teeth and gums are healthy without any special cleaning practices.
- Increase in self-confidence – Straight, beautiful teeth will improve your confidence!

Invisalign FAQs
Am I too old or too young for straight teeth?
We have treated many patients in their 70’s as well as under 10. 70 year old’s teeth move just as well as a teen!
What does Invisalign cost, and does it have to be paid all at once?
The average fee for two years of metal braces is about $3,000 to $6,000. There is a separate fee for impression and x-rays. Invisalign treatment can be the same or less. Payment arrangements usually include an initial down payment, and then monthly payments.
Does the dentist have advanced orthodontic training beyond the brief Invisalign course?
Dr Korwin is a highest honors graduate of Progressive Orthodontic Seminars, a rigorous two year course in advanced orthodontics. He is also has continuously been an Invisalign Preferred Provider for many years, treating hundreds of patients with Invisalign as well as traditional braces.
How does Invisalign treatment start?
A consultation is the first step. In this step, Dr Korwin will get to know you and examine your teeth and mouth. He will estimate the treatment plan, if extractions are necessary, and what alternatives you may have, how long it may take and a fee estimate.
At that or the next visit, impressions, photographs and x rays are taken of your teeth. This permits accurate measurements of your mouth to be made, and a specific plan to be developed. Once he has evaluated your mouth, records are sent to Invisalign and a computer model of your treatment (called a Clincheck) is made. Your next appointment is to view the Clincheck and to modify the plan if necessary.
Once approved, the clear trays that move the teeth are made, and then an appointment is made to teach you how they are used, usually every day for 22 out of 24 hours.
Retainers are important, even with Invisalign.
After 6 months of full time wear, usually retainers are worn only at nighttime. Teeth will move, even years after orthodontic treatment. For this reason it is important to wear retainers to prevent tooth movement and preserve your investment.
Oral hygiene is very important
Dr Korwin and his staff will teach you the latest techniques to keep your teeth healthy in all conditions. Using Invisalign or braces will require a few more steps to prevent cavities and gum problems, but these additional steps should take little more time than your usual care.
Especially when using Invisalign or braces. Food for you is food for the bacteria in your mouth. The better you brush, and floss, the less the chance for cavities or gum disease to start working on you while you are working on your teeth. Use a cleaner also for your trays to keep them fresh and free of germs.
Invisalign works for many situations, but is not the best choice for some.
Discuss your options with Dr. Korwin to see if you are a good candidate for Invisalign, or traditional braces would be more suitable.
